 Run for The Cove 5K Race, Memorial Walk

Kids’ Fun Run
Since 1997, when two Cove parents sponsored the first event, The Cove 5K Race, Memorial Walk and Kids’ Fun Run has grown from a handful of participants to nearly a thousand people. Held annually in October at Hammonnessett State Park, this event features both individuals and teams competing for prizes in age-appropriate categories. All proceeds benefit The Cove. Hope Springs Eternal Concert
On May 14 at 4:00, Ann West and students, joined by The Tamburri Iverson Reeve Piano Trio, will host a Sunday afternoon classical music and choral program benefiting The Cove. Held in First Congregational Church on the Guilford Green, this inspiring event involves Cove families, program facilitators and volunteers sharing what The Cove means to them. Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Annual Meeting
The Cove^s success is built on the dedicated support of hundreds of volunteers. In May of each year we gather in celebration of the service of Cove volunteers and honor them for their work. Special awards are presented after a nominating process that includes several categories of service. This event gets to the heart of what The Cove represents: the compassion of dedicated individuals working to provide support to grieving children/teens and families in the state of Connecticut.
