Mary Andersen
Mary Andersen is the Executive Director and oversees and directs Cove activities that include: Cove family sites, professional development and school programming, administration, community outreach, fund development, campaigns, grants and donor recognition, marketing, and day to day operations of The Cove.

Karen Denvir
Karen provides support for The Cove's programs, including the Family Program, "Good Grief" School Program, Camp Erin, professional development, as well as community outreach, referrals and other administrative support.  She recently earned her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University.

Paula King 
Paula is our new Fund Development Assistant supporting all fund development activities including special events, campaigns and donor recognition.

Jennifer Bilodeau
Jennifer is The Cove's part time bookkeeper.

The Cove Family Sites

In addition to our Coordinating Office, The Cove hosts Family Sites at the following Connecticut locations:

  • Meriden - Barbara Giangreco, LMFT - Site Director
  • Guilford - Michelle Dailey, LMFT - Site Director
  • New Haven - Pam Tobin-Sachs, CT, LPC - Site Director
  • West Hartford - Valerie Cordiano, LMFT - Site Director
  • Stonington - Jaime Miller, LCSW - Site Director

Once enrolled, participants connect directly with the Director of their site. Specifics on Cove Family Site locations are kept confidential from the general public to avoid "walk-ins" for group sessions, and to maintain confidentiality and respect for grieving children and families.
