Since 1997, when two parents sponsored the first event, The Cove 5K Race, Memorial Walk and Kids’ Fun Run has grown from a handful of participants to nearly a thousand people. Held annually in October at Hammonnesset State Park, this event features both individuals and teams competing for prizes in age-appropriate categories. All proceeds benefit The Cove.
