We are currently seeking young adults ages 18 to 25 years of age for our FREE Pathways to Healing Program.  This program is a peer support group utilizing art and processing to help provide hope and healing for grieving young adults.  Click here for more information. Sponsored by the Conrad N. Camp Erin Connecticut 2017 served 120 children. Many thanks to our donors, volunteers, staff, campers and families. This free bereavement camp experience is open to any child in our state who is grieving the death of a significant person in their lives.  Camp dates were June 2-4, 2017 for children ages 6-17 years of age. The Cove provides family and school-based programs utilizing the peer support group concept for helping children, teens and families work with their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives. The Cove also provides professional development and training for adults working with children and teens.


The Cove Center for Grieving Children provides family-based peer-support groups for children during a 20 week program that runs from September through June. These sessions are held at each of our 7 Cove sites located at community locations in:    

  • EASTON - Serving Newtown/Fairfield County

All contact with sites and registration for programs is made through the Coordinating Office in Meriden at (203) 634-0500.  

The Cove also provides Cove in Schools Programming through our "Good Grief" Program, Professional Development Training, Camp Erin and Community Outreach and referrals.  See our Programs page for more information on Cove services.
