CAMP ERIN CONNECTICUT

The Cove and The Moyer Foundation hosted a free
summer camp for children from across CT who are grieving
the death of a loved one or significant person in their life.
The Camp took place this year on June 6,7 & 8, 2014. Next year's camp is scheduled for June 5-7, 2015!

ABOUT THE COVE CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN

The Cove provides family and school-based programs utilizing the peer support group concept for helping children, teens and families work with their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives and other traumatic losses. The Cove also provides professional development and training for adults working with children and teens.

The Cove Center for Grieving Children provides family-based peer-support groups for children during a 20 week program that runs from September through June. These sessions are held at each of our 7 Cove sites located at community locations in:    

  • Easton - Serving Newtown/Fairfield County
  • Guilford
  • Meriden
  • New Haven
  • Stonington
  • West Hartford
  • East Hartford (New Site) - Serving Capitol Region East - Accepting intakes for Fall 2014

All contact with sites and registration for programs is made through the Coordinating Office in Meriden at (203) 634-0500.  

The Cove also provides Cove in Schools Programming through our "Good Grief" Program, Professional Development Training and Community Outreach and referrals.  See our Programs page for more information on Cove services.
