ABOUT THE COVE CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN
The Cove provides family and school-based programs utilizing the peer support group concept for helping children, teens and families work with their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives and other traumatic losses. The Cove also provides professional development and training for adults working with children and teens.
The Cove Center for Grieving Children has 7 Family Cove Sites that provide twice monthly peer-support programming for children from September through June. The 20 meetings take place in each of our sites located in:
• Guilford
• Meriden
• New Haven
• Stonington
• West Hartford
New Sites
• Easton - Serving Fairfield County/Newtown - intakes starting March 4
• East Hartford - Serving Capitol Region East - intakes starting this spring for 2013 fall session

The Cove also provides Cove in Schools Programming through our "Good Grief" Program, Professional Development Training and Community Outreach and referrals.
